Since March 2020 I have been offering six weekly classes online.
All you need is an access code to use Zoom which you can email me to receive and get started straight away.
We were not sure about online yoga initially but now we love the convenience and the continued social connection.
We even have coffee club afterwards for chats and smiles.
Check the timetable page for details or give me a call or send an email to find the right group class for you or even to have a private online class where you can address your own specific needs.
You could even have a group class with work colleagues or friends and family to have a purpose and connection during those online get togethers.

I practise and teach Hatha Yoga in the Broadstone and Poole areas. Hatha means Sun and Moon and just like Yin and Yang, yoga is about balancing opposing aspects of our mind, body and breath to bring harmony. I trained with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2009 under Wendy Haring with Anatomy and Physiology taught by Val Goodier. I went on to qualify as a pregnancy yoga teacher with Wendy Teasdill.
Prior to that I qualifed as a children's yoga teacher in 2005 through a national training franchise and set up a company called YogaBears teaching children in school settings in Bournemouth and Poole during PE time and in after school clubs. This is now run by Kelly Funnell.
My extra training and qualifications are in 'Yoga For Healthy Lower Backs' to teach a specialised 12-week evidence-based course to improve back health and function. I have also trained in 'Yoga for Menopause', a specially adapted yoga practice to help all women with stretches, breathing practices and mindful meditation and further specialisms in Somatic movement and Yoga for Osteoporosis. I am a 'Dementia Friend' and have done basic British Sign language training. I am currently (March 2021) training with 'Gentle Years Yoga' to teach a modified chair yoga practice to older adults and those with disabilities.
Yoga came to me when I was at Ferndown Middle School in the 70's where to their credit they offered Yoga as an alternative to Cross Country Running. It suited me very well and I have been addicted to the health-giving benefits ever since!
I love sharing the right practice that suits each individual hence why I also offer private classes at reasonable rates so that you can see what type of practice suits you before possibly joining a general class. I bring mindfulness and breath awareness to all my classes as they are powerful tools for bringing peace and calm to our busy lives.
